Uses This page was assembled to help the new webmaster of the Maine State
Volleyball Association website. The examples will center around the MSVBA
site and its components, but the instructions can be applied to any site.
Every effort was made to make this detailed and comprehensive, but if
you run into problems or have questions, always feel free to contact
me and ask for clarification.
Assumptions
These instructions assume a basic familiarity with word processing programs
and Microsoft Word, specifically. General knowledge of the internet and
related terms is also assumed.
Software
Screenshots and specific menu instructions refer to Macromedia Dreamweaver,
which I highly recommend for people wanting to design or maintain webpages
without learning HTML. However, a solid understanding of HTML will definitely
make your design process easier and will help you understand why things
go astray, as they inevitably do at some point. Other web design software
packages will have similar features and menu options.
