Locks of Love

Locks of Love is a non-profit organization that provides wigs and hairpieces to financially underprivileged kids with medical hair loss. All the wigs are created using donated ponytails, and over 50% of the organization's donors are children who want to help other children feel better about themselves. To a kid with medical hair loss, having hair means feeling more normal and fitting in with friends.

For information about donating hair or money, click on the banner above. Ponytails need to be at least 10 inches in length and can't be chemically damaged. All colors and textures are needed- it takes between 10 and 14 ponytails to make one high quality hairpiece.
